Normal rc servo traverses an angle of approximately 90 degrees with a pulse width range of 1.0 millisecond to 2.0 millisecond. for 180 degree operation the pulse width range is 0.5 millisecond to 2.5 millisecond. Check it out with an oscilloscope. PS. I did not type this in all caps.

There is a common error in the information regarding range of servo motion vs pulse width.

PS.
